13.6.2022 Progress Report

Here is a list of tasks accomplished today:

These Are Dark Times Progress:

 There is media( Video ) accompanying the recent changes. To view it please head to the appropriate tab(These Are Dark Times(WIP))

  1. Improved, and redid the whole idle animation.
  2. Fixed a bug where player couldn't pick up anything while holding a weapon.
  3. Improved the lighting for active weapon, so that all the weapons are well lit.
  4. Fixed a bug where pickup ray cast was returning constantly true, due to it hitting the currently active weapon.
  5. Improved the idle animation while holding weapons.
  6. Fixed some more animation bugs.
  7. Fixed a bug where player could hold multiple weapons at a time.
  8. Fixed a bug where player could pickup the weapon he was holding.
  9. Added sound effect for equipping melee weapons from inventory.
  10. Added Idle Animation to fps model holding a melee weapon. Includes:
  11. Axe
  12. Knife
  13. Baseball Bat.
  14. Baseball bat can now be equipped from the inventory.
  15. Axe can now be equipped from the inventory.
  16. Knife melee model can now be equipped from the inventory.
  17. Added physical version of the Baseball Bat melee weapon.
  18. Added physical version of the Axe melee weapon.
  19. Added physical version of Knife melee weapon.
  20. Created an Idle animation for the model.
  21. Player FPS model is only visible when player is holding a weapon.
  22. Added movement to the player model.
  23. Added proper lighting to the player FPS model.
  24. Added Player FPS model.


Lost Alien Progress:

Did  a lot of polishing:
  1. Improving lighting.
  2. Adjusting movement speed for player.
  3. Adjusted shooting speed for player.
  4. Adjusted most of the particle effects.
