10.8.2022(Progress made today)

 Summary:


This update is a bit late, because I forgot to publish the blog post, so here is what I did yesterday(10.8.2022). My main focus lately has been to make sure I meet the deadline of releasing one project a month. Unfortunately due to some unforeseeable complication, I have ended up having to mostly focus on Helicopter physics project, to make sure I meet the deadline. I will still continue to work on my other WIP projects too, but my main focus is the Helicopter physics.


Helicopter Physics

Yesterday I started working on the physics of the helicopter, and I have so far set up all the scripts for the 4 forces that will be acting on the helicopter. I also created some custom menu editor tools to help me increase the efficiency of my work.

 Summary: Today I started off working on finishing some tasks for my internship, and one of these tasks took way too long, and I was busy the entire day trying to fix the bug. Also the GMTK Game Jam started & I am happy to say we are making fantastic progress. We got a game design, Level is set up, enemies & their animations are set up, basic player controller & enemy controller are set up.  Tomorrow we focus on finishing the core game setup, and after that we will focus on polishing the game: adding particle effect, parallax effect, trail renderer, post processing, lighting, audio, UI. So though we made a lot of great progress, there is still a lot left to be done.  This is basically  it for today, and also here is a small snapshot of the level design. 30.7.2022(Back After A 2 Day Break!)

  Summary: The last couple of days, I decided to take a break from working on personal project, as I have been working so hard, and thought I needed a break. I was hard though, I really wanted start working again, and It was hard taking a break XD. I still had to work on internship project though. Today I started of working on A Farmer's valley project, and I am very glad to say I am finally done with the crop planting & growing system. It is fully functional, although I do have a couple of features In mind that I will have to add so that planting crops will have a purpose at least. Nonetheless it is done.
